Scope

This policy explains how Untropy XR handles information when you visit untropyxr.com or contact the studio about consulting, contract engineering or spatial computing work.

Untropy XR is based in Adelaide, South Australia. This policy does not cover third-party websites reached through links on this site. Manex is a separate product at manex.app and is governed by the privacy information published for that product.

Information collected

Information you provide

If you contact Untropy XR by email, the information received may include your name, email address, organisation, project details and anything else you choose to include. The project enquiry tool on this website opens a draft in your own email application; the draft is not submitted to or stored by this website.

Website usage information

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. Its standard implementation may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, visited pages and interactions such as contact-link clicks. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish visitors and sessions.

The website does not intentionally send the content of your email draft, your email address or other directly identifying enquiry information to Google Analytics.

Hosting and security information

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. As part of providing and protecting the service, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URLs, timestamps and security signals.

How information is used

Untropy XR uses information to:

  • respond to enquiries and discuss potential or current work;
  • provide, administer and improve consulting services;
  • understand website performance and which content is useful;
  • maintain website reliability, prevent abuse and investigate security issues; and
  • meet legal, accounting and professional obligations.

Untropy XR does not sell personal information.

Service providers and overseas processing

Untropy XR uses service providers where needed to run the website and communicate with visitors. These include Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google Analytics for website measurement, and the email providers used by the sender and Untropy XR.

These providers operate internationally, so website and communication information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in countries where those providers or their subcontractors operate. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Retention and security

Enquiry and client correspondence is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage a professional relationship, maintain business records or meet legal obligations. Analytics and hosting providers apply their own retention periods.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking analytics cookies may reduce measurement but should not prevent you from reading the site.

You may ask what personal information Untropy XR holds about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern. Some requests may be limited where the law permits or requires it. Untropy XR may need enough information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
